Moline—Neil Anderson, Republican candidate for 72nd District State Representative signs the “Save Illinois Taxpayers Pledge” sponsored by For the Good of Illinois PAC. The three-step campaign to repeal the 67% income tax increase, audit state spending budgets and freeze property taxes. In a press conference Thursday morning, Mr. Anderson joined For the Good of Illinois PAC chairman Adam Andrzejewski, to agree to put taxpayers first and join the fight to save Illinois taxpayers.
“My opponent, Pat Verschoore co-sponsored and with the help of his friends Speaker Madigan and Governor Quinn, passed a 67% tax hike in the middle of the night; it has done nothing but send businesses and jobs to other states.” Anderson stated. “I support actions to find and stop wasteful spending, end corrupt practices and eliminate mismanagement of taxpayer dollars. The taxpayers should not have to carry the burden of high taxes and job loss.”
Adam Andrzejewski said, “Taxpayers, families and seniors are being taxed to death in Illinois. We must freeze property taxes, stop the fraud and mismanagement and cut taxes.
